Arsenal currently have two of the best forwards in the form of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

But if reports are to be believed then Unai Emery is planning to bring in a new forward during the summer transfer window.

The manager will be provided with a 45 million pound transfer budget during the summer if the club fail to make it to the Champions League.

And it looks like Emery is planning to use some of that money to bring in Birmingham City forward Che Adams.

Who is Che Adams?

Che Adams is a 22-year-old centre-forward who joined Birmingham City in 2016 from Sheffield United.

And this season the Leicester born lad has set the Championship on fire.

Up until now, Che Adams has played in 32 Championship games this season and has already scored 19 goals.

This goal return from the youngster is quite outstanding which is why Arsenal have grown a liking for the forward.

While Che Adams is primarily a centre-forward but the 22-year-old has the ability to play on either wing which makes him a prized possession in the attacking department.

Are Arsenal the only club interested in Che Adams?

Arsenal are just the latest club who have shown an interest in the player.

During the January window, Southampton and Burnley wanted to sign Che Adams but Birmingham reportedly refused a 9 million pound bid for him.

But the St Andrew’s side know very well that a number of clubs will come after the forward especially since the likes of Arsenal, Celtic and even Manchester United had sent scouts to watch the player in action against Bolton last week.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been keeping tabs on Che Adams for some time now but the Glasgow outfit might be prized out during the summer now that Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Man United have come into the picture.
