Arsenal boss Unai Emery has maintained that he wants to bring in a new winger during the summer transfer window.

And PSV Eindhoven’s Hirving Lozano seems to be the right man for the job.

Lozano joined the Dutch side in 2017 and since then he has gone on to become one of the most talked about players in the Eredivisie.

This season, the 23-year-old has netted 17 goals from just 30 games which is an astounding number given that he plays on the left wing.

Arsenal were expected to launch a bid for Mexican during the summer but it now looks like the Hirving Lozano could be on his way to Italy.

Earlier reports had claimed that Napoli were the frontrunners to signing the winger but the Gunners also had a fair chance.

But now Calciomercato are of the view that Hirving Lozano could be on his way to AC Milan.

The 23-year-old is managed by Mino Raiola who has a great relationship with Milan’s sporting director and the report claims that the pair could reach an agreement to close a transfer pretty soon.

Hirving Lozano first caught the eye with his performances in the Champions League and rumours have it that he wants to keep playing in the top tier of English football.

AC Milan right now cannot guarantee that deal to Lozano but neither can Arsenal.

The Gunners are struggling hard to finish in the top four of the Premier League but if somehow they remain in the Europa League next season, then surely Hirving Lozano will take the flight to Italy.

Unai Emery has also claimed that January signing Denis Suarez will mostly be playing in the wide role this season and if the Barcelona loanee can prove to be a success then the club may not need to move for Hirving Lozano.
