Jose Mourinho will surely ‘park the bus’ against Arsenal. Right?

Well, Wenger does not think so.

Manchester United travel to London on Saturday in order to take on Arsenal at the Emirates. But Arsene Wenger believes that Mourinho’s team will not adopt a negative approach during the game.

Both teams go into the match on the back of three consecutive wins and everyone is hoping that Jose Mourinho will pull out one of his famed ‘defensive’ tactics during the away fixture on Saturday. But Arsene Wenger begs to differ.

When asked if Mourinho would ‘park the bus’ at the Emirates, Wenger said, “No, I don’t expect anything special. I just expect us to be ready to recover now.

“Man Utd is a strong team and I expect us just to cope with the problems they will give us. They will attack as well. They will not only defend.

“It is a game between Arsenal and Man Utd at home [the Emirates]. I just want to focus and to prepare well my team, and give my team a good chance to win the game.

“Man Utd is doing well at the moment, we are doing well at the moment, so it looks to be a promising game.”

And the Arsenal boss has every right to think that Mourinho will not adopt a negative approach. Simply because both the teams just cannot afford to lose any more points. Manchester City are practically running away with the title race and both teams – especially Manchester United need to be hot on their heels. Jose Mourinho’s men should try and will all their games and hope that City slip up at some point.
