Nicolas Pepe to replace Aubameyang Arsenal EPL
Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan Arsenal news

Arsenal brought in Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund in January of 2018 and last season he was one of the star players for the Gunners.

During the 2018-19 season, Aubameyang featured in 51 games across all competitions and he managed to score a staggering 31 goals.

And this season, he seems to have carried on where he left off as he already has a tally of 8 goals in just 11 Premier League games.

The Gabon international is without a doubt one of the key players for Unai Emery but it looks like the forward is making plans to move out of the club – possibly at the end of the current season.

During the last summer, there were a few whispers regarding him leaving the club but given that he had been at the Emirates only for a single season, there was no way that Arsenal would let him leave so early.

Now though things seem to have changed drastically with Arsenal dropping points consistently during the past couple of weeks and Unai Emery on the verge of being sacked.

Right now the Gunners are playing some of their worst football in recent memory and rumours claim that Aubameyang is trying to force his way out of the club.

And while it is not uncommon for players to search for greener pastures but it looks like Arsenal too have understood that keeping him at the club will not be easy and hence the club have reportedly promised to listen to any offers that come for Aubameyang.

Yes, as bizarre as it may sound, the North London club have promised Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang that they will not stop him from moving out in case the right offer comes along.

Right now no major clubs are queuing up in front of the Emirates for the Gabon international but as per some reports, Real Madrid have shown an interest in the forward and might make a move for him at the end of the season.

It is still unclear as to how much Arsenal want in exchange of Aubameyang but one thing is for sure that the player will not be signing a new deal at the club given that he is out of contract during the summer of 2021.
