Man United are currently going through a crisis and numerous reports claim that Max Allegri could replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the next manager at the club.

United have so far managed to bag just 13 points from 12 matches in the Premier League and right now they are playing some of the worst football we have ever seen since Sir Alex left the club.

The team is failing to score goals against almost every club and have dropped unnecessary points against teams like Newcastle United and Bournemouth.

A number of major publications have claimed that if their performances do not go up soon then the club’s management might give the option of sacking Solskjaer some serious thought.

And right now, former Juventus boss Max Allegri is the number one choice to replace the Norwegian.

While many people have put forward doubts about an Italian manager taking charge of Man United but according to former Italy boss Marcelo Lippi, Max Allegri will be a perfect fit at Old Trafford.

“Allegri would be good everywhere as a great admirer of the English club I would be happy to see him take over,” Lippi told the Daily Mail.

“Manchester United is the history of English football. There have been dark years but the club is fantastic, from the backroom to the players, everyone can say what it means to play at Old Trafford.

“I think Solskjaer was an exceptional striker and a good coach. For Allegri, I consider him an exemplary professional who has the style of Juventus in his blood.

“My deep friendship with [Sir Alex] Ferguson allows me to say that he would be the best choice for United.”

While Max Allegri certainly has the pedigree to become the next manager at Man United but it is more or less certain that the club’s hierarchy will back their current boss till atleast the end of the season.

Ole has had only one transfer window as the manager and during that, he has managed to bring in some pretty good players at the club. So many pundits argue that two more transfer windows and the Norwegian will finally be able to build a squad worthy enough to challenge for the league.
