Nicolas Pepe to replace Aubameyang Arsenal EPL
Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan Arsenal news

Real Madrid have reportedly been offered the services of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang during the summer transfer window but it seems they are not interested.

Aubameyang has been heavily linked with a move out of Arsenal this summer with clubs like Barcelona and Man United interested in signing him.

And while the Gunners effectively do not want to lose him but right now they are nowhere close to agreeing on a new deal primarily due to the huge wage demands of the player.

This would mean that Arsenal are open to selling off their star player in the summer and it looks like his services have been offered to Real Madrid which will surely have come as a huge blow to both Manchester United as well as Barcelona.

The Gabon international has been a stellar performer for Arsenal ever since joining the club in January of 2018 from Borussia Dortmund and since this season he has already netted 17 goals in just 26 games for the North London club.

If not Aubameyang then who?

As per reports, Real Madrid are not interested in signing Aubameyang since the Los Blancos want to make a move for Spurs forward Harry Kane.

Madrid have been after Kane’s services for a really long time and now that Pochettino has left the club, Madrid feel they have a great chance of signing the England captain.

Also, Aubameyang is currently 30 years old and in June he will be 31 and the last thing the La Liga side would want to do is to spend money on a player who is in the twilight of his career.

On the other hand, Harry Kane is just 26 years old – the perfect age to be the long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.

It is still unclear if Madrid have rejected the chance to sign Aubameyang but if Harry Kane is truly available in the market then there’s very little chance that Florentino Perez will even think about making a move for the Arsenal star.

UPDATE: Real Madrid want Aubameyang?

While Madrid still are prioritising the signing of Harry Kane during the summer but Florentino Perez knows this for a fact that Daniel Levy will not let Harry Kane leave so easily.

And this is why the Los Blancos are now looking at Aubameyang as an alternative to Harry Kane.

As per reports, if Real Madrid cannot get their hands on Kane then they will make a move for Aubameyang and are planning to use Dani Ceballos as part of the deal.

Ceballos is currently on loan at Arsenal and there’s a chance that the Gunners could keep him permanently and if this happens then getting their hands on the Gabon international will be really easy for Real Madrid.

But all of this will only happen once Madrid are confirmed that they will not be able to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
