Manchester United are reportedly trying to make a move for Carlos Tevez as a short-term replacement to Marcus Rashford.

The England international has suffered a stress factor which will keep him out of action for atleast a couple of months and some reports have also claimed that Rashford might be out for the remainder of the season.

So in such a scenario, it is absolutely necessary that United look to bring in atleast a short-term replacement for the forward.

And if some reports as true then it could be Carlos Tevez.

Tevez was obviously a Manchester United player under Sir Alex Ferguson but he did infamously cross over to Manchester City during a time when the Citizens were just aspiring to mingle with the big boys.

The Argentine spent two years on loan at Man United from West Ham but the Red Devils could not make him sign a permanent deal as he chose to sign for Manchester City and since then he’s gone into the bad books of the United fans.

Right now, he’s 35 and is playing for Boca Juniors having joined his boyhood club on a free transfer in 2018.

But Carlos Tevez is out of contract at Boca at the end of this season which is why Man United are trying to sign him on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.

Well, this news has come as a shocker to many people with many fans reacting adversely to the news of Manchester United chasing a traitor.

While every news related to Manchester United is potentially big but we don’t think the OT outfit are actually looking to sign a 35-year-old to solve their goalscoring crisis.

Also this season, Carlos Tevez has managed to find the net only three times in the league and last campaign he had scored only six goals meaning he’s not in some heavenly form either.
