The 2018-19 season of the Europa League will surely a special affair – given that a number of big teams especially from the United Kingdom will be playing in the second tier of European football.

Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal will have to play in the Europa League this season after they failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Scottish Premiership clubs Celtic and Rangers will also take part in the Europa League after both the Glasgow sides went through a series of qualifying rounds.

But it seems that the arrivals of the European nights have not brought in too much happiness amongst the Scottish fans.

Rangers have been drawn in Group G where they have some pretty tough opponents in the form of Villareal and Spartak Moscow while the Hoops will play against the likes of RB Leipzig and Salzburg.

And now that the Light Blues have named the ticket prices for the home games, it has created a huge amount of uproar amongst the fans.

Rangers FC season ticket holder will get the bundle of all three home game tickets for £105, with concessions charged £72 and juniors at £48.

While the Celtic season tickets holder will get the same bundle of three tickets for £72,  with concessions charged £57 and under 13s at £42.

And believe it or not but the ticket prices after the concessions for adults are even more than what Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal are charging their season ticket holders.

If you do the match then a Rangers fan will have to pay an average of £35 for a single ticket while a Hoops fan will have to shell out £24 – after concession.

And this is where the fans have shown their discontent since Chelsea are charging £20 per ticket while Arsenal are taking £15.50.

Both Celtic and Rangers fans are clearly unhappy with their respective management for the high prices of the tickets inside their own stadium. They have argued that this will a huge burden especially for the fans who also intend to travel for the away games.
