Rangers FC manager Steven Gerrard had high hopes from his side ahead of their season opener against Aberdeen. But all the Light Blues could gather was a single point.

The Gers were struck with their first blow early on into the match after striker Alfredo Morelos was shown the red card but somehow Gerrard’s men fought back and went 1-0 up on the half-hour mark.

And just when the manager felt that his team had pulled a wonderful victory, Aberdeen struck with an injury time goal and snatched one point.

On the other hand, Celtic played their first game of the 2018-19 season on Saturday and Brendan Rodgers side had a comfortable 3-1 victory against Livingston.

The Hoops fans could not have asked for a more better weekend with their team picking up all three points while their arch-rivals managed only a draw.

So the Celtic fans chose to give a fair bit of stick to their rival fans after Rangers drew their game.
