Celtic more or less have the Premiership wrapped up this season and it looks like Neil Lennon is already making plans for the summer transfer window.

If reports are to believed then the Bhoys are looking to make a move for Livingston keeper Liam Kelly.

Liam Kelly is a youth product from the Rangers academy and after a series of loan spells with Livingston, the Gers finally chose to sell him off to the Lions in 2018.

And during the 2018-19 season, Kelly has been a regular feature for the Almondvale side featuring in 33 league games for the club and managing to shut out as many as 14 shots on target(as per TransferMarkt).

Liam Kelly is under contract with Livingston under the summer of 2020 but numerous reports have claimed that the 23-year-old might choose to leave the club during the summer transfer window.

And keeping in line with the news, it looks like Celtic are keeping tabs on the whole situation and Lennon is believed to be interested in signing the keeper at the end of the season.

This move might look pretty straightforward and simple on paper but it does not look like Liam Kelly will be too interested in signing for the Bhoys during the summer.

As things stand, Kelly is the undisputed No 1 at Livingston but in case he chooses to join Celtic then he will effectively become the third choice keeper at Celtic Park.

While there is a huge possibility that backup keeper Craig Gordon might move out of the club at the end of the season but still Liam Kelly would only be able to find a place on the bench.

And experts believe that the youngster will not likely ditch regular first-team football in order to warm the benches under Neil Lennon.

Some believe that the Old Firm rivalry might also come into play here and given that Liam Kelly is a graduate of the Rangers academy he might not be too keen to join their arch-rivals.
