Rangers FC brought in a number of new signings during the previous summer transfer window and most of them arrived on loan spells.

While a number of them failed to make an impression but Liverpool’s Ryan Kent has certainly caught the attention of everyone in Scotland.

The youngster has had some really average loan spells in the past but this season finally the winger has proved his worth.

Ryan Kent has been a key figure in Gerrard’s attacking plans but the manager had recently claimed that he wishes to bring him back for yet another loan spell next season.

The manager said: “I won’t give hope of keeping Ryan until I see him in a different kit. If you speak to Ryan he will tell you that he’s happy, that he’s enjoying his football, the fans are really enjoying him.

“There are a lot of boxes ticked with him being at Rangers. Liverpool know that Ryan and his people know that, and we certainly understand that.

“All we can do is make sure we’re at the table – and we will be at the table. I think it would be unlikely to be a permanent move. I would be more confident about getting him back on a loan.

“If Liverpool wanted to sell him, that’s out of my hands. The figure being spoken about… I’m out.”

But keeping him at Ibrox for one more campaign would prove to be really hard since a number of rumours have been doing the rounds regarding the future of Ryan Kent.

While some reports claim that Jurgen Klopp wants the youngster to be a part of Liverpool’s first team squad next season others feel that Liverpool finally want to cash in on him during the summer transfer window.

Now though, Ryan Kent has surely given a ray of hope to all the Ibrox faithful.

The winger has been nominated for the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year this season and speaking after the nominations, he said that there is a possibility that he might return back to Rangers for the 2019-20 season.
