Tomas Kalas joined Chelsea on loan back in 2010 but since then all the central defender has done is move around Europe on various loan spells.

Kalas joined the Blues as a youngster and even though now he is 25 years old he still moves around on loan deals.

Right now, Tomas Kalas is spending the season out on loan to Bristol City where he has impressed many people.

And reports have long suggested that both Celtic and Rangers are keen on signing him during the summer transfer window.

And now reports are suggesting that the player has finally decided that he wants a permanent club.

Both Celtic and Rangers are pretty desperate to bring in a new defender and now with Kalas choosing to leave Chelsea, it looks like the Glasgow outfit will go all out to sign the 25-year-old.

Celtic want to bring in a partner to Kristoffer Ajer as Boyata is likely to leave the club while the Gers also have similar problems.

Rangers will see Joe Worrall lead back to his parent club which means Gerrard would also want to bring in a new defender at the end of the season

Tomas Kalas in under contract at Chelsea until 2021 but the Blues are reportedly willing to let him leave for around £5 million.

While amount shouldn’t be an issue for both the Old Firm clubs but given his fine performances with Bristol this season some reports claim that Chelsea might just bump up the price during the summer.

And there is also another possibility that other Premier League clubs might be interested in signing Tomas Kalas in which case both Rangers and Celtic will automatically fall down the pecking order.
