Chelsea ended their final game of the Champions League group stages with a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid. And as a result of this, the Blues failed to secure the top spot in their group – meaning that they are now in line to face some of the giants of European football.
And after the result, Eden Hazard put up a brave face infront of the media saying that Chelsea are not afraid of facing the likes of PSG or Barcelona.
Speaking to BT Sport, Hazard said, “It’s not a problem,
“We are Chelsea. We can face any team. We know PSG and Barcelona, they are very good. But we are Chelsea and we have to be ready for everything. We can do everything.”
But, on the other hand, Hazard teammates and current Chelsea captain Gary Cahill came up with a very timid response when he was asked the exact same question,
“To get to and win the final, of course, we have to beat the best teams,” Cahill told the London Evening Standard.
“But let’s not lie as well, let’s hope we dodge them and progress.”
And this statement from the Blues defender has the Chelsea fans raging in anger.

How can Cahill be our captain when he has this “running scared” attitude? Disgusting mentality, Azpilicueta or John terry would never say anything like this. Makes Chelsea look scared. #notmycaptain pic.twitter.com/zW37P3aOT2
