Chelsea suffered yet another loss in the Premier League this time losing to Newcastle United away from home.

The Blues under Frank Lampard have shown fine form away from home so this 1-0 loss came as shock in the overall scheme of things but going by how Chelsea have been performing during the past couple of weeks, the result seemed to be a fair assessment.

The home side naturally chose to sit back and absorb all the pressure and it was a 94th-minute goal from Issac Hayden which helped Steve Bruce’s men pick up all three points.

But it looks like this loss for the Stamford Bridge outfit could be a real setback for Arsenal.

Chelsea’s next game in the Premier League is a London Derby against Arsenal at home and according to Tammy Abraham, Lampard has made it clear that he wants his players to take out all the angst on the Gunners.

‘It’s massive[the next game],’ said Abraham via the club’s official website.

‘The gaffer said after the game “We gave it our all, keep your heads up we’ve got another massive game on Tuesday” and we just have to take our anger out against Arsenal.

‘It’s a tough one to take. These are the kind of games you watch on TV and you never expect it to happen to you.

‘We dominated the game, in the second half I don’t remember them having a shot until the last minute and they score.

‘For us, we have to give credit to Newcastle, they defended well all game, they disrupted our style of play, but we gave it our all and were unfortunate to lose at the end.’

Arsenal themselves failed to pick up all three points this weekend as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Sheffield United meaning they too will be low on confidence as they head across London to take on the Blues.
