Chelsea take on Arsenal in the Europa League final this week and Maurizio Sarri has a lot riding on this game.

Chelsea have had a really poor first season under their Italian manager but they can turn it all around by finishing the campaign with a silverware.

Winning this match will also be really important for Sarri since some reports claim that if the Blues fail to win this match then he could be shown the door next month.

Chelsea news vs Arsenal:

Chelsea have a number of injury concerns going into this game and the biggest one is with N’Golo Kante.

Kante picked up a hamstring injury earlier this month but he was scheduled to be fit before the final. But it looks like the midfielder has picked up a new injury.

While the Chelsea doctors are still assessing it but initial reports claim that Kante could be ruled out in which case both Kovacic and Ross Barkley will start in midfield.

Antonio Rudiger has also been ruled out of the match due to an injury which means Christensen will partner David Luiz in central defence while Emerson should play as the left-back in place of Marcos Alonso.

There is a fight for the striker’s position between Olivier Giroud and Gonzalo Higuain right now and many experts claim that the Frenchman should get the nod given that Higuain has been really poor during the past couple of games.

But we do not think that Sarri will take such a huge risk and will stick with Gonzalo Higuain.

Eden Hazard will play down the left wing and based on the selection from the previous games, it should be Pedro who gets to play on the right-hand side instead of Willian.
