Chelsea are back in the Champions League this week and in their first leg of the Round of 16, the Blues play host to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

The Blues go into this game at the back of a massive win against local rivals Tottenham Hotspur but in general, their home form has been really poor during the current season.

So naturally, there have been various pundits who claim that Bayern Munich could have a really merry-making time when they play at the Bridge on Tuesday.

And while Chelsea are surely going to give their 100 per cent to stop the Germans from picking up anything significant from this game but Jorginho has come out to claim that even if things don’t work out on Tuesday, the Blues should not panic since they do have a second leg to look forward to.

“Of course it is very important for our confidence to win after the loss against United,” said the midfielder, as quoted. “Saturday was very important for us, we knew that.

“When you create and defend, I think you need to be more aggressive and have more belief. On Saturday we were helping each other and that is very important. We need to keep doing this.

“[We need to] fight, run, hurt. We need to believe in ourselves on the ball. When we have to defend we have to defend together and that is it, that is what it takes to win big games.

“To be careful, to be focused on some details because in big games it is like this. There are two games [against Bayern], so we can’t lose our mind and go crazy if something goes wrong. We need to be quiet, be smart for that.”

Bayern Munich go into this game at the back of a five-match undefeated streak in the league while Chelsea have managed just one win in their last five league matches.

The German outfit will surely want to wrap things up in this leg itself but even if they don’t then atleast they would want to take back home that away-goal advantage.

Chelsea though will be without some of their key forward players like Pulisic and Hudson-Odoi meaning Lampard will have to rely on the players who played against Spurs on Saturday meaning fatigue could be a cause of concern for the Blues.
