Liverpool suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday and next up they travel to London to take on Chelsea in the Premier League.

The Reds are yet to taste defeat in England this season and they are currently sitting pretty at the top of the table – five points clear from second-placed Man City.

But if the Anfield outfit fail to pick up all three points on Sunday at the Bridge then Man City will be able to claw back that gap since they will be expected to pick up an easy win vs Watford on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp named a pretty solid squad against Napoli and most of those players are expected to start again in the Chelsea vs Liverpool match this coming weekend.

Liverpool team news vs Chelsea:

Alisson Becker is still a few weeks away from making a comeback meaning Adrian will once again be the No 1 chose for Liverpool on Sunday.

A rare Van Dijk error led to a Napoli’s second goal on Tuesday but the Dutchman and Joel Matip will once again pair-up in central defence at Stamford Bridge.

Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold will play as the two full-backs which basically means the backline will remain unchanged for the Chelsea vs Liverpool clash.

James Milner and Henderson both started in Italy but we believe that Milner will drop back to the bench as Wijnaldum takes his place in the first XI alongside Fabinho and Jordan Henderson in midfield.

Naby Keita is still recovering from his groin injury and as per reports, the midfielder will only return back to training this week so naturally, he is ruled out of the Chelsea vs Liverpool clash.

Divock Origi picked up an ankle injury and the manager had confirmed that he will be out from anywhere between 1 to 2 weeks.

While some rumours claim Origi will be fit enough to be named in the matchday squad but we don’t think Jurgen Klopp would want to use him in place of Roberto Firmino in such a high-profile encounter.
