Chelsea are on the verge of losing Eden Hazard during the summer transfer window – as per reports.
Eden Hazard has been the subject of interest from Real Madrid for a number of seasons and now that Zinedine Zidane is back at the helm, reports claim the Los Blancos will make a move for the Belgian international.
And many sources have also gone on to claim that Zidane has made Eden Hazard his top transfer priority which means the La Liga side are willing to spend absurd amounts of money to sign the playmaker.
Eden Hazard too has dropped hints that he might move out of Chelsea during the summer and if looks like Chelsea have already found a replacement.
If the gossip in Spain is to be believed then Maurizio Sarri is looking at Philippe Coutinho as the long-term replacement to Eden Hazard.
Philippe Coutinho left Liverpool to sign for Barcelona in 2018 for a staggering fee of £121.50 million as per TransferMarkt but his time in Spain has been a long bumpy ride.
This season, the Brazilian has played in 55 games for Barcelona but has managed to score only 11 goals across all competitions.
Major tabloids in Spain have claimed that the Catalans no longer want to carry the burden of Coutinho and are willing to sell him off in case someone is ready to pay the right amount.
Reports claim that Chelsea will move for Coutinho in case Eden Hazard tries to force a move during the summer.
But whether the Blues can sign the Barcelona man will only depend on whether their transfer ban is lifted.
Chelsea had appealed to lift their transfer ban but FIFA has upheld the original decision which means the Premier League club will now have to appeal to the Court of Arbitration.
