The January transfer window is almost coming to an end and it finally looks like the Hammers have managed to hold onto some of their key players.

For the largest part of the month, it was being suggested that Marko Arnautovic might be heading for the exit doors this after a Chinese club became interested in him.

But after a lot of struggle, the player has finally committed his future to West Ham – well, atleast until the end of the season.

And now reports are suggesting that Pellegrini had one more offer for one of his other striker.

As per the latest updates, Spanish side Valencia were interested in signing Chicharito but West Ham have rejected that offer.

Valencia were ready to pay €8m for the services of the Mexican but the Hammers are not interested in parting ways with him – well not atleast for a loan term.

Initially, it was being suggested that Valencia wanted Chicharito on a permanent basis but now if we go by the comments of the Valencia boss then they only wanted the forward on a loan spell.

Speaking about the Chicharito situation, Marcelino Garcia Toral said:

“Chicharito is an option because he plays so little and is keen to come, but the situation is complicated,

“The little information I have is that West Ham only are thinking of a sale option. But I make lineups, I don’t say yes or no on buying players.”

Chicharito has played 17 games for West Ham United this season and has scored five goals and assisted two.

But most of these appearances have been off the bench.

And now that Marko Arnautovic is staying back at the club, some rumours suggest that Valencia could move for Chicharito one more time.
