Dani Alves joined PSG in 2017 from Juventus but this summer, the right-back has become a free agent after his contract with the Parisian outfit expired.

Alves had previously worked with Unai Emery at the Ligue 1 club and if reports are to be believed then he is eager to reunite with him at Arsenal for the upcoming season.

Dani Alves might be towards the twilight of his playing career but he did manage to feature in 32 games of PSG last season and his experience can come very handy for Arsenal next season as they look to get back into the Champions League.

Alves being a free agent will obviously not cost a penny which makes him a very good buy but he does have a condition before he agrees to join the Gunners.

The Mirror reports: “Manchester City, Inter Milan and Tottenham, who are set to sell Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid, are also believed to be interested.

“But the Sun reports Alves is keen on a reunion with Unai Emery, having worked with the Arsenal boss at PSG.

“And a move to the Emirates ‘appeals most’ to Alves at the moment as he continues the next step of a prestigious career.

“Alves is currently on holiday after leading Brazil to the Copa America but is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

“The former Barcelona star had earned around £230,000-a-week at PSG and is willing to take a pay cut to secure the move.

“But it is claimed he will demand a deal worth £200,000-a-week to move to the Emirates, with Arsenal publicly short of funds this summer.”

Arsenal are already struggling with funds and right now it does not look like they will be willing to afford £200,000-a-week for Dani Alves.

The only way that Dani Alves can join Arsenal this summer is if the North London side can free up some space by selling off high earning players like Mesut Ozil.
