EPL Pemier League England
English Premier League

The 2018-19 English Premier League was easily one of the strongest battles that we had seen in recent memory with both Manchester City and Liverpool going for the titles until the very end.

Before the start of the campaign, most people had put their money on Man City defending their English Premier League title – which did happen in the end. But, Liverpool ensured that they had to fight for the trophy.

Pep Guardiola’s won the tournament with 98 points out of their 38 games – only one point better than Liverpool.

Chelsea might have made a really slow start to the campaign but they managed to finish third on the English Premier League table ahead of Spurs who made up the top four.

This meant that both Arsenal and Man United missed out on the Champions League spot and next season they will have to play in the Europa League.

But the 18-19 season is beyond us as the new one is just around the corner and all the top-six teams will ready to give the title shot a chance – theory atleast.

In reality, though, the likes of Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea should be more than happy if they can manage to play in the top tier of Europe next year.

And whereas, the 2019-20 English Premier League champions are concerned, the punters believe that it will be a two-horse race once again – between Liverpool and Man City.

Bet365 have odds of 4/6 at Man City winning the league while Skybet have odds of 4/7.

Liverpool seem to be the second favourites amongst the bookmakers with odds of 9/4 at winning the English Premier League(for both bet365 as well as Skybet).

Arsenal might have finished above Manchester United last season but clearly, the punters feel that Solskjaer’s men have a better chance of winning the 2019-20 as compared to the Gunners.
