Arsenal are on the verge of making two new signings and reports suggest that the deal could be wrapped up by the end of this week.

The first is obviously of Danny Ceballos from Real Madrid but this will be a loan signing with an option to buy at the end of the 2019-20 season – as per reports.

Apart from Arsenal, Spurs too have been interested in Ceballos and recent rumours suggest that Real Madrid have told their midfielder to choose between the two North London club.

And its highly likely that Dani Ceballos will choose the Gunners over their local rivals.

The other signing that Arsenal are expected to make is that of Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney as the Gunners are confident the Bhoys will accept their second bid.

Neil Lennon had recently made it clear that they will only let Tierney leave for the right price and in saying so he drew the reference of Aaron Wan Bissaka’s move to Man United.

He said: “We can’t do anything about what clubs do in England.

“£50m for Wan-Bissaka is a lot of money and we feel that Kieran is a far more experienced and rounded full-back at this juncture in his career.”

But according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, the Premier League club will likely clear both these hurdles and bring in their new signings pretty soon.

“I’m led to believe there’s growing confidence Arsenal can get the deals for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos and Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney over the line,” he said.

“Tierney on a permanent deal if they can sort out the structure of payment. Ceballos on loan because he sees his long-term future at Real Madrid, but he wants to get more game time now to impress Zinedine Zidane.”

Apart from these two players, Arsenal have reportedly also agreed on a deal for William Saliba but the youngster will be loaned back to his former club once the transfer is complete.

So once the deals for Dani Ceballos and Kieran Tierney is done, Unai Emery is also expected to bring in a new central defender for the upcoming season.
