Rangers FC appointed Steven Gerrard as their new manager earlier this summer and the former Liverpool midfielder has already made more than a dozen signings.
The Light Blues are currently in Spain taking part in their preseason training and winger Daniel Candeias has made a couple of revelations about the new managers’ training session.
Candeias arrived at Ibrox last summer and the Portuguese has claimed that Gerrard’s training sessions are the hardest.
Daniel Candeias told the club’s official website: “It has been a hard pre-season but it is good for the players because after it you get the results ahead of the long season,
“Before when I was in Turkey we used to run for the first three days and we never touched the ball but this has been harder.
“I am so tired after all the running we have done here but it will stand us in good stead for the season.”
It looks like Steven Gerrard is really putting in some effort in order to bring the Gers back at the same level as Celtic.
Apart from making bringing in new players during the transfer window, the Rangers boss has also overhauled his backroom staff.
The club management have also revealed that despite the manager and team heading off to pre-season training in Spain there will no shortage in efforts of trying to sign new players.
