Arsenal’s new manager Unai Emery has so far made five new signings during the summer transfer window and in doing so, the Spanish coach has exhausted all of his transfer budget.
And with a couple of days for the transfer window to close, the Gunners still look a couple of signings short from assembling a complete squad.
Now if Unai Emery wants to bring in any more players then he would have to sell off from his existing funds in order to gather funds. And it seems that the manager is doing just that.
According to the latest reports, Unai Emery has told forward Danny Welbeck that he has no place in the current squad and that he would be sold off before Thursday.
The report claims Welbeck has no place in Emery’s team during the new season and the Emirates outfit are planning to offload him.
Danny Welbeck joined Arsenal four years ago from Manchester United but the forward has failed to make any sort of impact at the club.
Last season he played 28 games for the Gunners in the Premier League but managed to score just 5 goals.
Former manager Arsene Wenger had some weird belief on Danny Welbeck but now that the Frenchman has left the club, the forward is also on the verge of an exit.
A number of clubs like Everton, Southampton and Bournemouth are said to be interested in the services of Danny Welbeck but we are still not sure which club will bag the services of the 27-year-old.
The sale of Danny Welbeck alongside a few other players will be crucial for Unai Emery in order to raise funds for the transfer of Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi who is rumoured to be waiting for the Gunners despite a strong interest from AS Roma.
