Arsenal brought in Denis Saurez from FC Barcelona during the January transfer window.
Initially it was thought that Denis Suarez would be arriving at the Emirates on a permanent deal but in the end, it was a six-month loan deal with an option to buy during the summer.
And everyone expected the midfielder to slot right in given that he had already played under Emery during their Sevilla days.
Sadly though that has not been the case.
Up until now, Denis Suarez has managed to play only four games in the Premier League and each of these appearances have been off the bench.
And now some reports are claiming that Unai Emery has come to the conclusion that Denis Suarez is not physically capable of playing in England and hence Arsenal would be sending him back to Barcelona at the end of the season.
These rumours have certainly created a lot of buzz and now Denis Suarez has come out to talks about him being a failure at Arsenal.
Suarez posted an Instagram story slamming all these rumours:
Last month Unai Emery had said: ‘I think Suarez is improving with his adaptation every day. Then his quality can give us a lot.
‘I think he is not OK today to play 90 minutes because he needs rhythm. But one positive is he can start [against Bournemouth] knowing that, or he can stay on the bench and then help us.’
It is pretty clear, the Arsenal boss will not give up hope on someone who he has personally brought in but if Denis Suarez cannot get constant game time at the Emirates then surely it will be very difficult for him to remain in England for the next season.
