Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has endured a very mixed time ever since he returned back to England from Juventus.
The player has failed to impress many people including his own manager Jose Mourinho.
Reports have suggested that the midfielder has a very strained relationship with the Man United boss and wants to leave the club at the end of the season.
Whether he does leave still remains to be seen but one of his teammates – Ander Herrera was almost caught in a controversy regarding Paul Pogba’s talent.
Well, almost.
Ander Herrera recently put out a video on Instagram in which he was seen doing a few tricks before scoring a goal.
And replying to this video one user said: “Why don’t you do this in matches?”
Ander Herrera immediately replied saying: “Because unless you are a striker or a winger, that’s absolutely useless,”
As soon as Herrera made this comment one user chose to read between the line and commented: “Did you just call Paul Pogba useless?”
Things could have gone south from here onwards but the Spaniard handled the situation brilliantly.
He wrote: “never! In terms of qualities and possibilities, he is the best midfielder in the world by far. He is probably the only one that can do that being effective for the team.”
Ander Herrera has failed to break into the first team this season and many reports suggest that he will be one of the players who will be sold off at the end of the season.
Man United travel to the St Mary’s Stadium this weekend to take on Southampton in the Premier League.
