Cesc Fabregas is open to returning back to the Arsenal as his Chelsea career seems to be entering the final stages.
After spending three unsuccessful campaigns with Barcelona, Cesc Fabregas finally returned to the Premier League and joined Chelsea in 2014.
And since then the Spaniard has been an influential figure at the heart of the Blues midfield. Last season too he played 49 games in all competitions for the Blues.
But this year though things have taken a turn for the worse.
Cesc Fabregas has so far played just a single Premier League game under new manager Maurizio Sarri and now multiple reports are of the view that the Blues are planning to offload him by the end of the season.
And in such a time, the Spaniard has fueled the rumours even further by claiming that he is open to returning back to Arsenal – a club where he spent eight glorious years before moving back to his home country.
“Arsenal will always be in my heart and I will never forget them, so why not return? You never know,” he told Marca.
“I feel fine still. In seven months, my contract ends with Chelsea.

“It will be 16 seasons playing at the highest level, over 750 games, a lot of training, travelling.
“I feel young and strong, but maybe I can’t do 60 games a season.
“With my style, I think I can keep playing for longer and obviously I want to keep playing for many years.”
Maurizio Sarri has made it clear that Cesc Fabregas does not fit his future plans at the club meaning the midfielder will be sold eventually.
And if the buzz around social media is anything to go by then even the Arsenal fans would love to welcome back Cesc Fabregas.
