Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is being compared to former sprinter Usain Bolt.
But why?
For starters, the only thing common between the two superstars is the fact that they are both footballers.
While Paul Pogba is a World Cup winner with France, Usain Bolt has just started his footballing career with hopes of earning his first professional contract.
But it Paul Pogba’s recent penalty vs Everton that is the reason why the United star is being compared to Usain Bolt.
Paul Pogba’s spot-kick was initially saved by Jordan Pickford only for his to tab in the rebound into the back of the net.
But that almost missed chance was not even the highlight of the whole game. In fact, it is Paul Pogba’s runup to the penalty kick which is making waves on social media.
And one keen observer has found out that Paul Pogba took more time for the runup than Usain Bolt when he won a 100m race.
Yes, Usain Bolt did, in fact, run a 100m race faster than Paul Pogba took time to score the penalty.

Paul Pogba does have a unique style of taking penalties and the comparisons to Usain Bolt’s 100m dash is one of the weirdest comparisons that we have seen in a while.
