In the 2017-18 season, Mo Salah ruled the EPL goal-scoring charts as he ended the campaign with 32 goals – two better than Harry Kane who had been winning the Golden Boot for the previous couple of seasons.

But in the 2018-19 campaign, the Egyptian had a lot more competition for the Golden Boot as he had to share his award with fellow Africans, Sadio Mane and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

The trio ended the 18-19 EPL season with 22 goals each meaning each one of them received a trophy.

While goals from Mane and Salah did help Liverpool secure the second spot on the EPL table but it was Man City who ran away with the title and they also had two players(Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling) who featured in the top 10 list of the EPL goal-scorers.

Harry Kane though saw a dip in form this time around as he managed to score only 17 goals throughout the competition thus finishing sixth on the list.

But the bookmakers feel that the England captain will surely have a turn of fortunes and will return back to the top heap during the 2019-20 EPL campaign.

As per bookmakers like Bet365 and Skybet, Harry Kane has odds of around 5.50 to finish the next season as the leading goal scorer in the EPL.

Sergio Aguero finished 4th on the list last campaign with 21 goals – one behind the top three, and this time around the Man City man has odds of 5 which is exactly similar to that of Mohamed Salah.

Aubameyang was the joint top scorer during the 18-19 campaign and this time around he has slightly higher odds of 8 but his strike partner Alexandre Lacazette has come into the picture with odd of 16 and 25(Bet365 and Skybet respectively) to finish the next EPL season as the top scorer.

Man United’s Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku have odds of 19/1 and 39/1 which is surprisingly less than the odds for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy(15/1) who managed to net 18 goals in the last campaign.

Wolves man Raul Jiminez scored 13 goals last season in the EPL and his name also features on the list of the possible top goal-scorers next season with odds of 32/1.
