Manchester United look a faded self of their glorious past.

Ever since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club, the Red Devils have failed to win the Premier League and have been on and off the Champions League.

After the failures of David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal, everyone thought that Jose Mourinho will bring back the glory days at the club.

While United have made significant progress under the Portuguese but the team have been blamed for playing boring football.

And former United forward and legend Eric Cantona is definitely one of the biggest names who has voiced their concern over this topic.

In a recent interview, Cantona said that while Jose Mourinho is a great manager but he should not be in charge of Manchester United. And in saying so, the Frenchman has named another manager who should be at the helm at Old Trafford.

Cantona said: “I like Mourinho. He has a good personality but not for United – they should have [Pep] Guardiola as coach,

“He should be there, but he is doing magic with that other club. The club I cannot name.

“It is early in the season… too early to tell. Manchester United is a great club and will always be great.

“They will win things, I know they will. But the way they play? Not good. The manager has them playing the wrong way for the fans. No fun, no creativity.”

And this is not the first time that Eric Cantona has shown his love for the Manchester City boss but deep down inside he even he knows that Pep Guardiola to United is a far-fetched dream.

Now the United fans can hope for the next big thing in the form of Zinedine Zidane.
