Jose Mourinho Spurs Premier League

Manchester United are currently 10th on the Premier League table with six points out of four games and after the international break, Jose Mourinho’s men need to get their act straight or else this season can turn bad in the blink of an eye.

United have lost two games this season first to Brighton and then to Tottenham Hotspur and the Old Trafford outfit just cannot afford any more slip-ups.

But as things stand, it does not seem that the fans will be having some great couple of months especially with Jose Mourinho on the verge of being sacked.

Mourinho has been pretty vocal about his management’s failure to bring in adequate players during the summer transfer window and many believe that the former Chelsea boss has fallen out with Ed Woodward.

Multiple publications in England are reporting that Zinedine Zidane is set to replace Mourinho as the new boss while Jose keeps reassuring that his job is safe.

And amongst all this, a very unlikely candidate has just dropped in his resume for the role as the next Manchester United manager.

Former Man United striker Eric Cantona in a recent interview was asked about the prospect of coaching the club to which he said immediately agreed.

Cantona said: “I would like to coach and if they called me I would go. I would enjoy it. They know where I am. Then we would play creative football again,

“It would be great for the fans like it was with Alex Ferguson – he allowed players to be creative, treated them as individuals. All felt loved. He was always praising. A good man, a good leader.”

The former French International has also said during the interview that he wished Pep Guardiola was the manager of United and not Jose Mourinho simply because the Spaniard’s mentally is perfectly synced with how the club have played in the past.
