Rangers have signed 12 new players during the summer transfer window under the managerial regime of Steven Gerrard and now it seems that the Light Blues are all set to welcome their newest player.

During the past couple of days, reports had been ripe that the Light Blues were planning to make a move for NK Osijek winger Eros Grezda. And now it seems that the deal has well and truly been wrapped up.

According to the latest news coming out of Scotland, Rangers and NK Osijek have agreed on a transfer for the Albanian winger.

The Light Blues are reportedly shelling out £2 million for the services of Eros Grezda(yesterday it was said to be in the region of £3 million) and the deal is expected to be wrapped up within the next 24 hours.

According to Starsport, the medical is set for Wednesday and the deal is subject to a work permit being issued.

Eros Grezda was not on the original transfer wishlist for Steven Gerrard but the Gers have brought him in as a direct replacement to Jamie Murphy.

Eros Grezda joined Osijek from NK Locomotiva last summer and he played 37 games for the Croatian outfit during the whole of last season – scoring 8 goals.

With the 23-year-old set to move to Ibrox, Eros Grezda will become the second Osijek player to join the Light Blues within a span of one month after Borna Barisic made his move a couple of weeks ago.
