West Ham United are already making plans for the upcoming transfer window and it looks like Felipe Anderson will be up for sale – as per reports.

The 26-year-old joined the Hammers from Lazio in 2018 and last season he really made a really positive impact at the club. This campaign though, he has managed to score only one goal in 22 Premier League games and right now David Moyes is thinking of offloading him.

West Ham are expected to face a cash crunch in the upcoming transfer window due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic but the manager has made it clear he will not let Declan Rice leave.

Now Rice is the only player who is capable of attracting the big names clubs in Europe – the ones who are willing to pay a massive transfer fee. But with this plan out of the window, the London outfit are now looking to put Felipe Anderson up for sale in the summer and are even willing to suffer a massive loss.

The Hammers currently value Anderson at around £45 million but are per the reports, the club is willing to accept anything in the range of £25 million so that Moyes can use than money to bring in new players in the summer.

ExWHUemployee which is generally a very reliable source of information on West Ham related news has also admitted that the Hammers are open to accepting bids on almost any player, including Felipe Anderson.

Napoli had shown an interest in the Brazilian but they had backed off previously due to the high transfer fee.

But now that West Ham United have lowered their asking rate, there’s every chance that the Italians might come back to sign him.

If we were to analyze this transfer decision based only on the performances of last season then David Moyes might be making a big mistake but the harsh reality is that the player has been really poor this time around. So if the Hammers can actually get anything more than £25 million then they should consider themselves lucky.

The player has two years left on his current deal so it would also be safe for the club to sell him off this year itself instead of entering into contract negotiations next season.
