Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has claimed that if Barcelona or Real Madrid come calling then Harry Kane must grasp that opportunity with both hands and move out of White Hart Lane.
Kane who will be leading England in the upcoming World Cup has been touted for greatness for quite some time now and the 24-year-old is undoubtedly the best striker in England right now.
But Pavlyuchenko believes that Kane needs to move out of London in order to take that next big step in his career.
Kane has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid during the summer and some publications also claim that Barcelona too are closely monitoring the player’s situation.
Pavlyuchenko feels that if either of these two clubs come calling then Kane should not let this opportunity pass by.
Pavlyuchenko told Goal: “If Barcelona and Real Madrid call him, then yes, he has to go,
“But if it’s to join a team that occupies the middle of the table in Spain or Italy, it’s not worth it.
“But, he must first know what he wants. It is certain that, if Barca and Real are present, then it’s normal to want to go there.
“Tottenham is a big club, but they don’t play in the final stages of the Champions League. If he wants to go even further, he must, of course, join a bigger club.
“Today, as you can see, he scores a lot of goals. Many clubs want him and for that, I can only say “well done”.
“I look at him and see how effective he is. This pleases me, especially since I was at his side during the first steps. I am very happy for him. He is a great Tottenham player today.
“Tottenham has always had a very seductive style of football. This team is very attacking and produces a good passing game.
“They play a spectacular type of football. The players come and go, but the style remains the same.
“Personally, I have always liked it. When Tottenham became interested in me, I always said that this style suited me. And, it seems to me today that this style has endured and has not changed much.

Spurs have been knocking on the doors of greatness for a couple of seasons now but if you look at it in a practical way then the Lilywhites have done nothing apart from regularly securing a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Many believed that the 2017-18 season was the acid test for Spurs and now that the London outfit have failed to grab a silverware this past campaign, Harry Kane might very well be enticed to move out.
