Man United and Chelsea both have relatively new managers in the form of Frank Lampard and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. But both the sides have somehow secured Champions League qualification next season.

The Red Devils beat Leicester to finish 3rd on the Premier League table while Chelsea beat Wolves 2-0 to grab the final UCL spot on the table. And when Roy Keane was asked as to which manager has done a better job at handling their sides this season, here’s what he had to say.

‘Frank’s probably even done a better job, I have to say,’ said the former Man United man, via Metro.

‘I expect them to be there or thereabouts, but the way they’ve played, the way Frank comes across, he comes across really well.

‘There’s no-nonsense about him, he’s made big decisions, he’s brought a lot of young players in, good players, good quality, but they’ve needed an opportunity, they took it.

‘They finished in the top four and obviously if they can win an FA Cup, great achievement. ‘But as Frank is reminding everybody, he’s not getting too carried away getting in the top four, but it’s a huge step forward for Chelsea again.’

Both Solskjaer and Frank Lampard have done a really good job this season but with Champions League football under their belt, it will be interesting to see how both the sides deal with the pressure of playing in Europe and also competing for the Premier League title next season.

The Chelsea boss though has clearly started on the front foot by making a number of great signings this summer whereas Solskjaer is yet to dive into the market despite being linked to players like Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho.
