Rangers manager Steven Gerrard brought in a number of players on loan last summer but most of them have turned out to be failures.

Most of the players who were expected to do well actually turned out to be duds and some of them have even been sent back to their parent clubs.

But one man has impressed a lot.

Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent is currently one of the few youngsters who has been setting the Premiership on fire and Steven Gerrard looks to be very pleased with the player’s performances.

The 22-year-old arrived at Ibrox on a season-long loan but Steven Gerrard is expected to keep the same arrangement for the 2019-20 season.

Ryan Kent may be well past his prime but with the likes of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah dominating the Premier League, the current Rangers man is nowhere close to a first-team call-up for Liverpool.

So everyone predicted Jurgen Klopp to agree on yet another loan deal which would have kept Ryan Kent in Glasgow for one more year.

But now it looks like the 22-year-old might just be heading back to England during the summer.

Premier League club Fulham have shown an interest in signing Ryan Kent and might make a bid for him at the end of the season.

Reports suggest that Fulham had recently sent scouts to watch Ryan Kent in action and rumours claim the man in charge of taking notes has returned back to Craven Cottage with a very positive influence.

This season Ryan Kent has played in 37 games for Rangers scoring five goals and providing nine assists and as per TransferMarkt, the winger is valued at €1.75 million.

This amount of money would be pocket change for a Premier League club like Fulham and the only way Rangers can hold on to Ryan Kent is if they make a move first and sign the winger permanently.

Steven Gerrard obviously has close ties with Liverpool and the Gers boss should use this relationship in order to sign Ryan Kent permanently.
