Glenn Middleton came up through the ranks at Norwich City but in 2018 he moved to Rangers FC.

The 19-year-old is regarded as a fine talent by the Gers management but last season, the winger managed to make only 14 appearances in the Premiership.

Glenn Middleton plays down the left flank which was occupied by Ryan Kent last season and now that the Liverpool man is set to return back, there have been reports that Gerrard is planning to send Middleton out on loan.

A number of clubs have already been linked with a move for the 19-year-old this summer and fresh reports suggest that Hull City too have joined the race to sign the youngster.

As per the Football League World: “Hull City are interested in Rangers player Glenn Middleton, according to the Hull Daily Mail.

“The reported move would see the winger join on loan, as he is not believed to be part of Steven Gerrard’s first-team plans.

“The Tigers have acted shrewdly in the market this summer with the additions of Tom Eaves and Matt Ingram since Grant McCann took over as manager.

“Doncaster and Coventry are also believed to be interested in a loan deal, and the 19-year-old could opt for a move to League One in favour of more game time.”

Four Lads Had A Dream have also broken this news and they are one of the most reliable sources when it comes to updates on Rangers FC.

So it is more or less certain that Glenn Middleton will be moving out on loan this summer now it just remains to be seen which club gets to bring him onboard.

Last week there were reports that the winger has agreed to join Doncaster Rovers on loan for the upcoming season but eventually, these rumours quickly fizzled out.

While Doncaster still remain in the hunt but now that Hull City have joined the race to sign Glenn Middleton many experts believe that Gerrard would want to send the 19-year-old to the Championship side.
