Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for AC Milan keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the summer as a long-term replacement to Kepa – as per reports.

Arrizabalaga has been really poor this season and not only has Frank Lampard publicly criticised the Spaniard but also dropped him for a couple of games during the past couple of months.

And it has been reported that the keeper will be sold off during the summer as Chelsea look to bring in a new keeper for the upcoming seasons.

Players like Nick Pope and Gianluigi Donnarumma have been linked with the London outfit and now the AC Milan keeper has hinted as to where his allegiances lie.

“The Rossoneri colours mean a lot to me, because I grew up here. I have always been a Milan fan and I can’t help but give my best for this shirt,” he told his club’s website, as reported by the Mail.

“The first goal is the one I share with the club and the one we have set ourselves at the beginning of the season.

“The personal goal is to always give my best and try to concede as few goals as possible.”

Gianluigi Donnarumma has played in 24 Serie A games this season managing to keep 10 clean sheets but the player only has one more year left on his current deal at the club.

AC Milan have been really poor this season and right now they are 7th on the Serie A table meaning there’s every chance that Gianluigi Donnarumma might look to leave in the summer.

And with only one year left on his current deal, Milan might not have any other choice but to offload him rather than risk him losing for free next year.

Chelsea though have Nick Pope as their first priority in the summer and if they cannot sign the Burnley keeper only then will they move for someone like Gianluigi Donnarumma.
