Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Spurs have all made enquiries to sign Philippe Coutinho during the summer transfer window – as per reports.

Philippe Coutinho left Liverpool to join Barcelona in 2018 but his time in Spain has been a massive failure and right now he is out on loan to Bayern Munich for the 2019-20 season.

And there have been heavy rumours that the forward wants to return back to the Premier League at the end of the season.

The player has played in 22 Bundesliga games this season scoring eight goals and making six assists but as per the reports, Bayern Munich are not interested in signing him permanently during the summer.

This means that Philippe Coutinho will be heading back to the Camp Nou and right now even Barcelona have no plans of holding onto him and want to send him out on yet another loan deal.

Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal and Spurs are all interested in signing the forward for the upcoming season but there are a number of factors which Coutinho will have to consider before choosing his next club in the Premier League.

Which club will Philippe Coutinho join?

The first thing which Philippe Coutinho would want is to keep playing in the Champions League meaning Arsenal automatically fall down the pecking order in the transfer.

While Chelsea, Spurs and Man United all have serious chances of playing in the UCL net season, it looks like Arsenal will remain in the Europa League for one more season.

Another major factor is that Philippe Coutinho will not want to warm the benches in his new club which would mean that both Spurs and Arsenal will have a big chance of signing him in the summer.

Arsenal badly need a new creative midfielder while Jose Mourinho’s Spurs too are suffering from the same issue meaning if Philippe Coutinho was to join either of these two clubs then he will get guaranteed playing time in the upcoming season.

Also while Barcelona are interested in selling him off permanently but surely no club will be interested in paying the player’s steep transfer fee meaning Philippe Coutinho will most certainly return back to England in a loan deal with possibly an option to buy.

UPDATE: Chelsea & Arsenal lead the line?

According to the latest reports, Philippe Coutinho has told Barcelona that he wishes to move out of the club in the summer, even if that means heading out on yet another loan deal.

And in such a scenario, the player is prioritising a move to either Arsenal or Chelsea during the upcoming transfer window.

Both these clubs have been heavily linked with the Brazilian international but both of them could only afford them on a loan deal meaning Coutinho’s return to England will only be temporary.

Arsenal and Chelsea will receive a major boost in signing him during the summer but surely Coutinho will want to keep playing in the Champions League next campaign meaning as things stand the Blues have a better chance of landing the Barcelona misfit than their London rivals.
