Manchester United has been heavily linked with a summer move for Wolves forward Raul Jimenez – as per reports.

Raul Jimenez joined Wolves from Benfica in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee of around 38 million euros and this season the forward has already netted 13 goals in just 29 Premier League games for Santo’s side. And with all these goals have come some real big interests namely from Manchester United who are reportedly eager to bring him on board for the upcoming season.

But now talking about his future, the player has hinted that he has no plans of moving out right now since he is happy at Wolves.

“I have a contract until 2023,” Raul Jimenez said in a Facebook Q&A, via Goal.

“It’s not that we have to qualify for the Champions League in order to stay. I’m good [here], happy with Wolves, doing important things – me as well as the whole team.

“We’ve been trying our best since the start of last season. We’ve qualified for the Europa League, now we’re fighting for a Champions League spot.

“And it’s the big motivation to keep growing as a player and getting into the Champions League is always a plus that satisfies you and keeps you thinking about big things.

“In 10 years I will be 39 so, I don’t know, I may be retired. I hope to last as long as I can.

“I have been a player with few injuries and I hope to continue for many more years. I then want to be a coach or take a position on TV, but I will continue in football.

“I am having a good time in Europe for now but in the future I don’t rule out going back to America.”

Raul Jimenez to Man United possible?

Man United brought in Odion Ighalo in January and there’s a buzz that the Nigerian could be handed a permanent deal at Old Trafford at the end of the season.

While his parent club are eager to hold onto him and have reportedly offered him a pay rise but Ighalo is willing to wait in order to see if Man United offer him a permanent deal or not.

So in such a scenario, we do not think Solskjaer will be too worried about the comments made by Raul Jimenez since the Norwegian boss seems to have a number of other players on his transfer wishlist including Spurs forward Harry Kane.
