Midfielder Aaron Ramsey will be joining Juventus at the end of the season as a free agent and already Unai Emery is struggling to find a replacement.

The Arsenal fans are pretty unhappy with the management’s decision to let Ramsey leave that too for free and just when they were coming to terms with this, it looks like one other player could be on his way out.

The player in question is midfielder Granit Xhaka.

Granit Xhaka has been a key part of Unai Emery’s plans this season and after a few rough seasons, the midfielder has finally polished his game to become a regular first-team starter.

During the 2018-19 season, the Swiss international has played in 25 Premier League games, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

He is without a doubt who is one of the first names on the manager’s teamsheet but now his recent comment might just have thrown a spanner into Emery’s plans.

“I’m very ambitious, I want to take the next step, Arsenal does not have to be the last stop,” Granit Xhaka recently told Tagblatt(as reported by Daily Star).

This statement is truly an odd one especially since this season, Granit Xhaka has faced very less criticism from the Arsenal fans and he has been one of those players who has been constantly churning out good performances.

The midfielder also went on to sign a new deal at the club last summer which will keep him at the Emirates until 2023.

But clearly, though, Granit Xhaka is not too happy with life at Arsenal.

Either he has been told by the manager that new players would be coming in during the summer and the 26-year-old will have to fight for his spot in the first XI.

Or Granit Xhaka has looked at the Aaron Ramsey situation and thought of making an exit when the opportunity is ripe.
