Arsenal have lost Aaron Ramsey to Juventus on a free transfer and recently there have been fears that Granit Xhaka might also look to move out of the club.

Granit Xhaka moved to the Emirates in 2016 from Monchengladbach and the player has always been a point of debate amongst the Gunners fans.

While some believe that the Swiss international is key to controlling the game in midfield others feel that he is too rash at times and is not fit to play for Arsenal.

But last season tough, Unai Emery certainly put in a lot of faith on Granit Xhaka as the midfielder played in 29 Premier League games for the North London club.

While should have been enough for him to commit his future to the club but he surprisingly came out a couple of months ago to claim that he might very well move out of Arsenal in the near future.

Xhaka told Swiss outlet Tagblatt(as reported): “I’m very ambitious, I want to take the next step.

“Arsenal does not have to be the last stop.”

And since then Granit Xhaka has been linked with a host of clubs and every report has claimed that the 26-year-old will be moving out of the Emirates during the summer transfer window.

Now though, the midfielder has come out to clear the air about his transfer claim that he is not leaving Arsenal(not atleast this summer).

“Not that I know,” Xhaka told Blick(as reported)

“I have another four years’ contract, I only signed last year. I’m happy there, my family too. That’s the most important thing.”

This will surely be a huge sigh of relief for the Gunners fans who felt that losing two of their star midfielders in one transfer window would have really been a huge transfer blow for Unai Emery and his plans for the 2019-20 season.
