Tottenham Hotspur have slapped a £200 million price tag on Harry Kane but still Manchester United seem to be interested in signing him – as per rumours.

Harry Kane has been linked with United for a really long time and with each passing day, it seems like Solskjaer is more and more serious about making a proper move for the England captain.

Despite the huge demand from Spurs, Man United remain very much interested in the forward especially since he’s himself hinted on a possible exit in the near future.

“It’s one of those things, I couldn’t say yes, I couldn’t say no. I love Spurs, I’ll always love Spurs. But it’s one of those things – I’ve always said if I don’t feel we’re progressing as a team or going in the right direction, then I’m not someone to just stay there for the sake of it,” he had recently told Redknapp, via Sky Sports.

“I’m an ambitious player, I want to improve, I want to get better, I want to become one of the top, top players.

“It all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress as a team. So it’s not a definite I’m going to stay there forever – but it’s not a no either.”

But now taking a complete detour from all the positive news, reporter James Cooper has told Sky Sports that Harry Kane is not even on Ole’s transfer wishlist this summer.

He wrote: “It won’t happen even if Daniel Levy were to suggest to Ed Woodward he might be prepared to do a deal for Kane.

“Furthermore, I’m under the impression that although there has been interest previously, Kane’s name isn’t on United’s recruitment list.

“United just won’t be spending anything like those sorts of sums, despite expecting to be in a relatively powerful financial position when football emerges from this crisis.

“Admittedly they’ve recouped some of that[spending] outlay, particularly in the case of Romelu Lukaku’s sale to Inter Milan, but the chances of the club spending £200m on a single player are pretty much nil.”

It’s still unclear what the true story is but it’s not impossible for a club like Manchester United to chase Harry Kane – despite the absurd price tag. More so since Anthony Martial has not been too impressive in the centre-forward’s role so far this season.
