Arsenal have a big couple of games coming up and this week they welcome Chelsea at the Emirates.

The Gunners need to win this game in order to cut down that gap between then and the Blues or else Sarri’s men would go nine points clear.

And after this match, Unai Emery’s men will take on Manchester United in the FA Cup 4th round.

While most of the Arsenal players have returned from injury but Henrikh Mkhitaryan is still missing due to a metatarsal injury.

The Armenian picked up the injury in December during the Carabao Cup defeat vs Spurs and initial reports had suggested that the playmaker would return to full training in February.

But now it is being claimed that Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ahead of schedule and should be back before time.

Having said that though, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will still miss the game vs Chelsea but the player should be fit to take on his former club.

Arsenal and Manchester United are currently tied on points in the Premier League table and the Gunners need to win this game vs Chelsea. And if Unai Emery had gotten Henrikh Mkhitaryan back then it would have been a huge boost for the Emirates outfit.

But with the Armenian international out, there’s a huge possibility that Mesut Ozil could return back to the squad after having been snubbed for the past couple of games.

Two weeks from now, Arsenal will take on Manchester United in the FA Cup and Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to play in that game.

Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck is out until the end of the season but Unai Emery has gotten back the likes of Hector Bellerin and Koscielny who are scheduled to start vs Chelsea this weekend at the Emirates.
