Liverpool might have lost out on the Premier League title to Manchester City this season but they still have the chance of ending the season on a high.

The Reds will be playing in the Champions League final vs Spurs next month and if they manage to win this tournament then surely it will be a fitting end to what has been a fine season for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Everyone expects the Liverpool players to focus on the final game of the season but it looks like the backroom staff is already making plans for the summer transfer window.

Last year, Liverpool spent a lot of money on player transfers but each of those signings turned out to be a masterclass from the German manager.

And fans will be hoping for a repeat of the same this summer.

According to BBC journalist David Ornstein, Jurgen Klopp needs to sort out some key areas in order to keep this unbelievable form going next season.

“The most settled team of the lot, they’re looking at continuity,” Ornstein told BBC Radio 5 Live(as reported).

“It will be a very settled summer for them, consolidation seems to be the name of the game, they’ve stockpiled well.

“They’ve essentially done their big shop and they don’t see the need to daily shops and to improve their squad they feel it would take astronomical spending.

“They’re looking at one or a maximum of two signings unless there’s an injury or a player that wants out like Philippe Coutinho.

“At left-back they need cover, that’s the key area, with Alberto Moreno and Nathaniel Clyne leaving.

“They want a young player who can grow into the role or someone versatile.

“They also want a possible attacker to replace Daniel Sturridge if he leaves but once again it won’t be a No 9. It will be a versatile attacker.

“Jurgen Klopp loves the predator that he feels Rhian Brewster is, so he would feature and Divock Origi will stay.”

While Liverpool have a fantastic first XI but the harsh reality is that they do not have a very good bench on which their manager can blindly rely upon.

And most experts believe that the Liverpool manager will try and fix this problem during the upcoming transfer window.
