Jose Mourinho Tottenham take on Chelsea

We are just nine games into the new Premier League season and a number of managers are already on the verge of being sacked.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is having a tough time preventing his side from falling into the relegation zone while Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle United are yet to win a game this campaign.

And amongst all this, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is without a doubt the most high profile manager whose job is at risk.

Before the international break, multiple reports suggested that the management were planning to sack Jose Mourinho but the Portuguese assured everyone he had the full backing of the board.

Even though all those rumours have died down but the Sportsman has come out with the first Manchester Referendum wherein a polling station has been placed out infront of Old Trafford.

The fans can go to the polling booth and cast their votes on whether Jose Mourinho should remain at the club or be sacked.

The fans can also vote online and up until Monday, 55 per cent fans wanted Manchester United to be sacked.

One fan who was at the polling station outside Old Trafford wanted Jose Mourinho to be sacked and he said:

“I’m a diehard member of the Mourinho Out camp. He’s more than had his time here and the sooner he leaves and we strike a deal with Zidane the better. I’m confident the people will see sense and ignore the spin from the inside who blame everyone but the gaffer for our current dire situation.”

But before drawing any assumptions we also have to keep in mind that the poll is open to both Man United as well as non-Man United fans.

The voting process will go on for the whole week and will end on Sunday after the game against Everton next weekend.
