Nice midfielder Jean Micheal Seri was the subject of interest from many a top Premier League clubs during the summer as reports suggested that clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal were after the midfielder.
But then the 27-year-old shocked everyone by joining Fulham on a four-year deal.
And after the central midfielder moved to Craven Cottage many felt that all the news about the Premier League big guns going after Seri was utter rubbish.
Now though the midfielder himself has come out to clear the air about the clubs who were interested in him during the summer and Jean Michael Seri has revealed that a number of the top clubs wanted to sign him.

Seri has claimed that clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur wanted his services for the new season but he chose to join Fulham simple because the Cottagers gave him respect.
“When I played for Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal, Nice came for me and they really came. Fulham wanted me the same way,” said Seri.
“They said, ‘We want you, come to Fulham.’ Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, they saw me but they didn’t say, ‘We want you.’ Because Fulham gave me this respect, although other clubs wanted me, I wanted to sign for Fulham,”
Fulham are in now ways as big as Chelsea or Liverpool but if Jean Michael Seri can perform well for the club during the new campaign then there’s always a chance that these interested clubs might return for him next summer.
