David Beckham has finally unveiled the name of his MLS side which will be called ‘Club Internacional de Futbol Miami,’ and ‘Inter Miami’ for short.

Beckham also unveiled the new badge for the club which will make its debut in the MLS in 2020.

Speaking about the club, Beckham said: “Our club will be a home for all — no matter where you are from or how you got here. This is just the beginning of our journey as we continue to build towards our first game in 2020.”

And as soon as this news came to light reports have been doing the rounds about the players that David Beckham wants to sign for Inter Miami.

According to a report in England, ‘Inter Miami’ have shortlisted 3/4 players and all of them belong to the elite list of European football.

It is being believed that Beckham is trying to target the Latin American market in Florida and wishes to bring in players for Inter Miami that can attract that fan base.

Here is the list of possible signings for Inter Miami:

Wayne Rooney:

By the time Beckham’s club starts playing, Wayne Rooney would be 35-years-old and the fact that the former Man United is already playing in the MLS for DC United will give Inter Miami that added support and experience.

James Milner:

The report claims that Inter Miami are targetting James Milner because of his fluency in Spanish which will, in turn, make the transition from Liverpool pretty seamless.

We will have to wait and see if James Milner is willing to move out of the comforts in England and tread in the unknown waters of the MLS.

Radamel Falcao:

Falcao will be 34 when and if Inter Miami come calling for him which like Wayne Rooney will be a perfect age to move to the more quieter MLS.

Falcao is reportedly being targeted because of his strong connection with the Latin American population in Florida which will go a long way in building a loyal supporter base for the club.

Yes, David Beckham’s Inter Miami are looking after Cristiano Ronaldo as their crown jewel before the 2020 debut.

Many thought that the 33-year-old would move to America this summer but instead, he chose to join Juventus. And the Italian expedition might very well be the last big challenge that Ronaldo takes up before moving to Inter Miami.
