Cristiano Ronaldo shocked the whole world during the summer as he chose to leave Real Madrid and join Serie A outfit Juventus.

Ronaldo moving out of the Bernabeu has been a staple rumour almost every summer so when these rumours once again surfaced this transfer window no one really paid any attention to it.

But little did anyone know that after winning three consecutive Champions League titles, Cristiano Ronaldo would try and look for a fresh challenge.

Ronaldo joined the Turin based outfit for a staggering transfer fee of €100 million which clearly showed that the 33-year-old was still valued highly in the transfer market.

The Portuguese has so far played three games for the Juventus in the Serie A but he is yet to score a goal for the club.

And when the whole world is waiting for Cristiano Ronaldo to open his account in Italy, Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport have revealed the wages of every Serie A player.

As per the newspaper, Ronaldo is taking home a staggering €31 million per season.

He is the highest paid footballer at Juventus and also the Serie A while the second highest wages are bagged by Gonzalo Higuain at AC Milan where he takes home €9.5 million per year.

Juventus are spending €219m (£197m/$253m) per season on player salaries which makes them the highest spenders in Italy followed by AC Milan and then Inter Milan.
