After a dull period, Spurs have managed to find their form back and the Lilywhites are now sitting just five points off of the final Champions League spot on the Premier League table and they still have a game in hand.

This advantage could quickly evaporate as Tottenham prepare to face Arsenal in the North London Derby this weekend and a loss in this match would force Mourinho’s side further behind in the top-four race.

Tottenham are undefeated in their last 5 matches against Arsenal in all competitions and they have managed to build decent momentum, having won each one of their previous three league matches.

Mourinho has a more or less fit squad to choose from but the Spurs boss is expected to rotate his line-up on Sunday as he brings back a few regulars who were rested against Dinamo Zagreb.

Spurs team news vs Arsenal:

Davinson Sanchez partnered Eric Dier in central defence on Thursday but the latter will move to the bench with Alderweireld coming back into the side against Arsenal.

Sergio Reguilon was also rested in midweek and he too will return to his usual left-back role.

Hojbjerg will come back into the side to partner Ndombele meaning Sissoko is the one who’s likely to miss out. Harry Winks remained an unused sub vs Dinamo Zagreb and he is expected to start on the bench vs Arsenal as well.

Giovani Lo Celso has suffered a lower back injury meaning he will be out for some more time. Dele Alli got a rare start for Spurs on Thursday but normalcy will return this weekend as Lucas Moura occupies that attacking midfielder’s role.

Gareth Bale seems to have found his rhythm back and he scored two goals against Crystal Palace last weekend. The Welsh international did not start in the Europa League but will return to the side for the North London Derby.

Harry Kane was seen applying an ice pack on his knee after he was taken off in the second half on Thursday but Jose Mourinho has made it clear that his premier striker will be ready to face Arsenal on Sunday.

The manager said: “Harry I don’t believe is anything big. Sunday is a match everyone wants to play and little things will not stop him. I don’t have the feeling it is anything serious.”

Spurs’ predicted line-up vs Arsenal:
